It's Raining It's Pouring

Luckily Sunday is looking much brighter and sunnier so we are pumped for then! 

Thank you to my supporters who made it down anyway, so sorry to disappoint. 

So, between now and then, I am off to judge a singing/talent competition. I'm loving the variety that has been thrown at me this weekend. And after all of this, I'm going to enjoy an evening with Flannel, drink some french champagne and see some beautiful garments while spending time with some awesome people. So excited!!! I'm getting ready (but sad) to leave my role at Sass & Bide and looking forward to a new adventure with Morrison. Life cannot get any more stylish right now. Love it.

It's been a little crazy here at Beso Beso. This week I received the last of my samples from New York. A few months ago I was asked to send some pieces to Sports Illustrated for an upcoming shoot. I put a look together for a specific story and I am hoping to see this look grace a page of the swimwear edition. When I opened up my package today - I was pleased to see some scuff marks on both pieces, which means - They took it on location!! I wonder who got to wear it?

I was also hoping my samples would get here in time for Perth Fashion Festival. So now I can slip this look into the show. Last minute touches are happening as I type and cannot wait for tomorrow.

 I am very pleased to say fittings went really well during the week and last minute touches have been made. I was so happy to re-unite with Chloe from Chadwicks (my model for the lookbook) and Sheldean from Scene (a former colleague). It feels good working with all of the models. I feel at ease now.

The first show will be tomorrow at STM Fashion Central, Forrest Place at 2pm and the second will be Sunday, same place at 3pm. Free to the Public.

Come down and show your support to your local designers and look out for the gold hand painted visors by yours truly.

Perth Fashion Festival kicks off in 5 weeks. Beso Beso will be making it's debut at SWIMWEAR CENTRAL on Friday 21st September and a second show on Sunday 23rd September at 3pm. This is a FREE event!!! Come support WA swimwear labels. We will be alongside our friends Bikini Atoll, Cebiche and Gypsea. See you there!!

This is Clare. My gorgeous sister-in-law (who resembles Kylie Radford of Morrison don't you think?). My good friend and stylist Jess Nella, and I helped to style this look for Clare for an event she attended last week. I love the step-hem of the Sass & Bide piece, named the Raw Deal dress. It is such a beautiful cut in a metallic silk/silk georgette layer fabric. The jacket compliments the dress and gives Clare's shape an amazing curve in all the right places. (This was the last one you lucky thing!) A turned up cuff gives the overall look a bit an edge. The simple pointed-toe heel creates length and the look is finished off with a bright lip and lashings of mascara. You're a natural Clare. I think you don't know just how beautiful you are. xx

You know what they say. The apple doesn't full far from the tree. This is Jake. He's a bit of a rocker, crooner, screamer, moon-walker, whose favourite songs include Footloose (only the original), Brother (Matt Corby), Twinkle Twinkle (Mozart?), Billie-Jean (Michel Jackson) and a bluesy tune called Summertime. I guess his weekly music history lesson with mummy has something to do with it. Jake loves a cuddle with an alpaca and adores his dog Samu. His style is rock n' roll, surfy, old-school cool. Little dude inspires me everyday

My swimwear collection titled Tiny Dancer, will be making its debut at the 2012 Perth Fashion Festival . A little nervous but excited to be apart of this event as I have been attending the shows and events for the past few years and it has (secretly) been a little dream of mine ever since.
